Prairie Wind Ranch

Jodie was our first Shire mare and she holds a special place in our hearts as the Shire

who taught us how sweet and gentle draft horses can be. We purchased her after a lengthy

search for a modern, upright style mare to produce stylish offspring with presence. She is

the perfect culmination of that search and has produced some fantastic foals that make us

proud that she is a Prairie Wind mare. She is so much fun to work with that we have been

tempted to start her under saddle, but haven't gotten around to it yet. She is open for 2010

so maybe this will be the year we ride beautiful Jodie.

Jodie's Previous Foals

Jodie was not bred in 2009 so she will not have a foal in 2010. However, we do plan to breed her back to Alex

for a 2011 foal. When Jodie is confirmed in foal, we will offer the foal in-utero with a reasonable payment plan.
