Lacey is a 2002 Friesian/thoroughbred cross that has become one of our favorite riding mares.  She is super

sweet and would rather live in our house than outside with the other mares.  Her size of 16.3 makes her a perfect

match for Alex and her black color guarantees that her Alex foals will be black.  The Friesian influence is

easy to see in her luxurious mane and tail and large frame.  Her thoroughbred dam was one of the nicest

thoroughbred mares I have ever seen and she contributed a sleeker, slightly more refined body type and

greater endurance and stamina.  As a result, Lacey is a perfect cross with the larger size we like,

the beautiful black color, thick long mane and tail, and absolutely loves attention.  Her movement

has to be seen to be believed by merging grace with power and agility.

The result is a presence that is captivating.

Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of Lacey's beautiful thoroughbred mother who is now deceased. You can almost see her behind baby Lacey in the photo to the left.  If you would like to see the pedigree of Winloc's Dynamite, click here.

Look at that fantastic conformation!

Lacey foaled a gorgeous black filly, Prairie Diva, on May 14, 2010.  Diva is absolutely stunning and moves

like a purebred Friesian. Photos of Diva can be seen on the Sales page.  Lacey consistently

produces such outstanding 3/4 Friesian foals, that we are tempted to breed her back

to Alex for 2011.  If we do, her foal will be offered in-utero with a reasonable payment plan.
