Docs Blue Chex Dr (Sox) was originally purchased to be Linda's riding mare, but due to an injury at an

early age, she was given a place in the broodmare herd.  The high quality of the foals that she has

produced has guaranteed her a permanent place on our farm.  Her thoroughbred influence is

obvious in her tall frame with longer legs and a sleeker body, but her mind and temperament are

all quarter horse.  When her quiet nature is paired with Alex's sweet disposition, the result is

a sweet, loveable foal with the movement of a Friesian and extra athletic ability.

Sox was not bred in 2010 but will be bred to Alex in 2011 for a 2012 foal.  Her 2010 black filly, Prairie Ballerina (Bali), is available for

sale.  We will get new photos of Bali in May, 2011 when she sheds her winter hair. Sox's foals always bloom in their yearling

year, so we are looking forward to seeing what emerges from under that thick winter coat!
