	Whether competing in a formal dressage show, strutting his stuff in a local parade, or trail riding in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Alex is at home. He is not only comfortable doing a variety of activities, but he has fun doing it and that makes it fun for his rider. His versatility, intelligence, kind temperament and incredible heart make him a dream to work with.
	Alex was imported from the Netherlands and was purchased by Prairie Wind Ranch in 2002. Since then he has been trained in dressage, driving and exhibition/liberty. He also has a repertoire of tricks that he enjoys performing for his fans.

Diplomat has had an extensive show record and was the Reserve Grand Champion Stallion at the Louisville Livestock show competing with Clyde’s, Percherons and Shires. He stands at stud at Jenson Shires in Blair, NE. He is the sire of Jodie’s 2007 colt and is currently bred to Candice for an August, 2008 foal.
